Wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks for filling the hopper of a gunge tank where there isn't much clearance between the top of the tank and the ceiling?
First attempt at building a tank, so went tall enough to stand up in without considering too much the clearance above. Sure enough I've only got about 20cm to play with so I've been resting a builders bucket with 10L of gunge on the frame of the tank and transferring it across with a 1L jug - time consuming and tiring when there's 40L to shift.
Next thought would be some kind of pipe and pump set up but wouldn't really know where to start. I'd expect any pump would need to be pretty heavy duty.
There isn't a different room which has a higher ceiling we could film in either.
Any obvious techniques I've not thought of? Suspect I might just be stuck with the work out each time.
Rebuild the tank to be lower. I used to think we didn't have the height for a gunge tank as the dungeon ceiling is only 6'6" off the floor, but of course you don't usually stand up in a gunge tank, you sit in it. So the clear space in the tank only needs to be about 5' high.

That would be one way forward. We have done a couple of shoots using it stood up (neither released yet). There were a couple of items of clothing we wanted to try filling from the tank stood up and the results have been quite interesting. Obvious problem there is slipping as soon as you move from where your feet are planted, but that's not caused an issue yet.
Also prevented needing to cut the plastic sheeting but I do have a jigsaw so lopping even 6in off the top might give the clearance needed to get a bucket or plastic box over the top.
Sounds much simpler than looking into pumps and the like anyway.
